Rewild Landscape reimagined the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center for Christmas as a high end, sensory winter environment in the heart of New York City. Layered seasonal planting, texture, light, and crafted hardscape details were composed to create a richly immersive public experience that remains resilient in an urban setting and evolves throughout the season.
ReWild is curating the planting design of the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center. Six times a year, for Easter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Christmas & Winter we reimagine the planting design and palettes to propose different feels and interactive landscape environments to beautify the space and attract the attention of visitors. Special care is given to propose a robust urban-proof palette of plants that will also provide food and habitat for pollinators.
